The final phases of this extensive remodel of a vacation home included building a unique garage and adding on a small porch.
Clearing ground for the garage. This was the first paying job for our new tractor. Tom had to be the first to park ‘in” the new garage. Framing in progress. The client wanted to add on an extended roof for a small woodshed and a screened porch. The “eyebrow” roof was a visual concept chosen by the client to break up the face of the garage.
Phase 4
At the tail end of the project, the client decided to add a small porch to the main house to match the log porch on the other side. This required cutting into the existing roof and driving to a log yard to hand pick and peel logs to match the original work.
